The Lexus LC started production in March 2017 for the 2018 model year in 2 guises; a 2 door coupé and a 2-door convertible. The car has 2 engine options a 5.0 L V8 petrol with 471 hp and a 3.5 L V6 hybrid petrol with 354 hp both connected to an auto box.
It is a large luxury coupe, think of a BMW 6 Series re sizing and the LC is one of the boldest things Toyota have produced. It is more of a long-distance cruiser than the basis for the hottest lap. We think that potential customers will possibly ignore the hybrid model because of the difference in performance, driving satisfaction and the overall ambiance in having a V8. That said the 500h appeals directly to customers who like the idea of being environmentally friendly where possible.
