The Huracán is one of the last naturally aspirated super cars in its class, Ferrari and McLaren made the switch to twin-turbos in the 488 and 650S respectively. The Huracán’s chassis is a blend of aluminium and carbon fibre, the inclusion of which has allowed the designers to be more adventurous with its external aesthetics adopting the sharp edging of the Siesto Elemento.
An advanced all wheel drive system regulates the output between the front and rear wheels, improving traction when the surface demands it.
The Huracán’s V10 engine generates 601 bhp, 78 more than the Gallardo whilst weighing 98kg less. These improvements allow it it accelerate 0-60 in 3.2 seconds, a full second faster. The Huracán is largely expected to surpass the sales record set by the Gallardo.
