The latest Nissan 370Z Roadster with high-tech options has finally hit showrooms and is now available to order. Prices start at £29,900 – making it over £7500 cheaper than an equivalent Mercedes SLK and nearly £4000 cheaper than a Porsche Boxster. The Nissan 370Z roadster will go on sale in the UK by early 2010.
With a 3.7-litre V6 engine, it can seriously pack some punch to match the stunning design, too! Same as the coupe, Nissan 370Z Roadster delivers 326bhp so it should be quick. According to Nissan, the 370Z with a lightweight fabric roof has brought the kerb weight up to around 1586kg after the roof mechanism with a total of 61kg has been added to the weight.
With a seven-speed paddleshift automatic gearbox and a fully electric roof that raises or lowers in around 20 seconds, the Nissan 370Z roadster should be able do 0-60mph in under 6 seconds.
