MR39 Penalty
You will receive an MR39 endorsement on your licence by being caught driving a vehicle faster than the permitted speed limit. This endorsement will make it difficult to find insurance at a reasonable cost and may deem you as an unsafe driver to insurance companies who may not even insure you. This is why you will now need specialist car insurance.

Specialist MR39 Car Insurance
Speeding convictions will almost always make getting car insurance at a competitive rate more difficult. The unfortunate fact is that insurance providers consider those with convictions, and especially speeding convictions, to be in a higher risk category, meaning your premium will be quoted higher.
Fortunately, Keith Michaels specialise in banned driver insurance and have 30 years’ experience arranging cover for convicted drivers. When it comes to speeding ban car insurance, we take each risk on its own merits and treat you as an individual.
