'I bought the car just before my 40th birthday after always wanting one as I grew up. It was initially running 347bhp, I have currently owned it for nearly six years and it has always been a work in progress. But I finally reached my goal this year after having drop in pistons, rods and MR head gasket fitted thanks to Jamie Lumley - Evotune Durham. At the end of 2015, I finally saved enough money to buy the turbo kit I wanted – the Ross Sport GT3076HTA which got me to the magic number of 500, actually 526hp! The car is awesome, an 18 year old absolute beast and I would not swap it for anything. Love the whole character and handling of the car. My car is still a work in progress, as all Evos are, but some people spend money on drink - my car likes to drink instead of me! Future upgrades include a rear carbon diffuser just received off carbon goodies, a twin plate clutch and then turn the power up to 550 - that's as far as I want to go.'
